Happy 10th Birthday William

June 26, 2021 by Where's William? Campaign

Today is William’s 10th Birthday – A day that also marks 2480 tragic days since William was taken from his happy life, from those he loved and who love him. And while we can easily imagine what he would be like, how much he’d have grown and how much he’d have changed from a cheeky toddler to a fun-loving little man; the overwhelming heartbreak of not knowing what has happened to our precious boy is never ending.

William, no matter where you are, you are in our hearts and in our thoughts every minute of every day, especially on your Birthday. We love you to the moon and back and we’ll never give up the search for you. We’ll never lose hope that one day we will find you and bring him home.

On William’s 10th Birthday, please light a candle for our precious boy and join us in maintaining hope that William will be found.

A ONE MILLION DOLLAR reward remains on offer for information that leads police to William. If you know anything of William’s disappearance, please call Crime Stoppers NOW on 1800 333 000 and help bring William home. #HappyTenthBirthdayWilliam #DoubleDigits #MakeTheCall #OneMillionReasons  #WheresWilliamTyrrell #WheresWilliam #MissingWilliamTyrrell #BringHimHome  #BringWilliamHome #NeverGiveUp #KeepHopeAlive #CrimeStoppers #WilliamTyrrell

Hope remains for William – 13 September 2016

September 13, 2016 by Alice Collins

Hope is all William’s family has…

Every day is a struggle for this beautiful family.

Every day they try to keep going not knowing what has happened to their little boy.

Every day they pray that he is safe, that he is loved… that he’s not afraid.

Every day they hope that the next phone call might be the one telling them their boy has been found. Every day they have hope in their hearts that their little boy will be found alive and well and returned safely to the arms of his family where he belongs.

Somebody knows something of William’s disappearance. Every single day William’s family maintains hope that this ‘somebody’ comes forward to tell Police what they know so they can find little William and bring him home.

Thank you NSW Police, SES, Surf Life Saving, RFS, the Kendall community and the public

September 20, 2014 by NSW Police Media Unit, on behalf of the family of William Tyrell

Thank you does not seem like the right sort of word to express our gratitude and heartfelt warmth we feel towards each and every one of you. We have been completely overwhelmed with the way the public, SES, Surf Life Saving, RFS and the Police have rallied together to find our little Spiderman William. You didn’t know us and we didn’t know you but today we feel that we are a part of your extended community and we are warmed & comforted by the way you have shared our love for William. Our heartfelt thanks to you all.

William is only three years and three-months-old and really still a baby, he has so many more years to live and we desperately want him home. William up until a month ago was obsessed with all things Fire Engine and would tell us his name was “Firefighter William”… a future he deserves to fulfil. We pray and hope that our “Firefighter William” comes home soon.

Please don’t give up on our boy. Don’t give up on bringing William home. Never say never. Where there is a chance that someone might come forward, there is hope that we all have the chance to bring William home.
William's Daddy
This has torn away the fabric and foundation of life as we know it -shattered our entire family to the core. The words broken hearted come to mind, but in fact this is not even close to the way our family feels on so many levels. What has happened to William is wrong, so very wrong. I wish, I pray, I cry each night for him. I see other children and families with boys the same age and feel so ripped off, short changed, for him, his sister, my family and myself. I fear the worst but yet pray for something, anything. Someone knows something, someone always knows something. Someone can help find William and bring him home.
William's Daddy
To watch your friends suffering through something as traumatic as this…there are just no words. As family and friends we try to support them, but how? What can any of us possibly do or say that would make a difference….? William is missing. The only way for this nightmare to end is for William to come home.
A Family Friend
William’s a baby and he needs to be home with his family. He’s an innocent little boy with a sister who wants her brother home. William’s Mummy, Daddy and sister are so sad and lonely without their precious boy. We love our boy and will never stop looking for him to bring him home.
William's Nana
This has torn away the fabric and foundation of life as we know it -shattered our entire family to the core. The words broken hearted come to mind, but in fact this is not even close to the way our family feels on so many levels. What has happened to William is wrong, so very wrong. Can you help bring William home?
William's Daddy
I pray he’s safe. I pray he’s being cherished. I pray that someone will say something. It’s too big a secret to keep. Please tell the Police what you know and help bring William home to us.
William’s Mummy
William needs the voice of many, his is silent. Who else will speak for him? Please join us in providing a voice for William. When children are just 3, their voices are not heard, but there are other voices that can speak louder. There are voices that can speak up for him and help us find our little boy. Who will stand by William and “shout” for him to help bring William home.
William's Mummy
I love my brother and I miss playing with him. I get sad when I think that bad people have hurt him. I want William home.
William’s 5-year-old Sister
William has cousins, he has uncles and aunts. They miss talking to him on the phone. They miss hearing him tell them about his friends, his toys, and riding his bike. They miss seeing him and his sister together. They miss his happy little face and his fun-loving play. Family get-togethers are always tinged with good memories and deep, profound sadness.
William's Mummy

Somebody saw something.
Somebody knows something.
Somebody can help bring William home.
Is that somebody you?
